El Castillo de Praga


El Castillo de Praga es el Castillo gótico más grande del mundo. Pese a los sucesivos incendios e invasiones, es uno de los más notables, suntuosos y emblemáticos vestigios del gran pasado histórico, cultural y social de la capital de la República Checa.

Construido en el siglo IX, fue la residencia de los reyes de Bohemia, emperadores del Sacro Imperio Romano, presidentes de Checoslovaquia y presidentes de la Republica Checa. En el se encuentran las joyas de la corona de Bohemia. Es considerada la mayor fortaleza medieval del mundo.

The Prague Castle

The Prague Castle is the largest Gothic castle in the world. Despite the successive fires and invasions, is one of the most notable and iconic sumptuous remains of great historical, cultural and social capital of the Czech Republic.

Built in the ninth century, was the residence of the Kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman Emperors, presidents of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. It contains the Crown Jewels of Bohemia. It is considered the largest medieval fortress in the world.

El Castillo Karlštejn


Karlštejn es la joya de los castillos checos más importantes, uno de los símbolos del reino checo, un verdadero castillo de cuento de hadas a tan sólo 30 kms al sur oeste de Praga. Es un castillo gótico del siglo XIV. Fundado por el emperador del Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico Carlos IV, en el año 1348 para custodiar las joyas imperiales de coronación del Reino de Bohemia y reliquias valiosas. Reformado en el estilo renacentista, en las postrimerías de los siglos XIX y XX. Reconstruido en el estilo purista. Los interiores históricos del Palacio Imperial y las Torres Marianas.

Karlštejn Castle

Karlštejn is the jewel of Czech castles most important and one of the symbols of the Czech Kingdom, a real fairy tale castle just 19 miles southwest of Prague. It is a XIV century Gothic castle. Founded by the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire Charles IV, in 1348 to guard the imperial coronation jewels of the Kingdom of Bohemia and valuable relics. Refurbished in Renaissance style in the late nineteenth century and XX. Reconstructed in pure style. Historial interiors of the Imperial Palace and the Marian Towers.
